This month, we are highlighting Prossy. An entrepreneurial mother working hard to provide for her family in Mukono, Uganda.

Prossy sells women’s undergarments. Recognizing the demands of her customers, she wants to use her Umama loan to expand her business into women’s blouses. Umama, she says, encourages women to work hard and save for the future, and this is what she is doing. Currently, she sells her products door-to-door, but she hopes that future Umama loans will be able to help her set up a permanent storefront for her business.
